So while looking at Skywind I've noticed pretty barren roads. The landscaping is beautiful but the actual paths seem flat and have repetitive textures. Skyrim uses flagstone for paths and it really adds a lot to to the visual appeal. I was wondering if there is some reason this isn't implemented in Skywind? Are the assets not created that flow with terrain textures or is it simply against the desired aesthetic?

Perhaps flagstones on major roads and small, minor roads are dirt?

Vvardenfell isn't quite... Civilized... like Skyrim. The environments are unbelievably harsh, not just in terms of terrain, but because of the surrounding fauna. Taking the time out of their schedules to build a road would be fruitless for anyone involved, so the roads would likely not be paved in anyway. The dunmer know Vvardenfell like the back of their hands, and the imperials dont give a rats ass about the island other than its ebony deposits.

Though I do agree that the repeating textures are a bit much... Someone should go through and introduce a secondary texture to each of the roads.

well some variation can be added from region to region :) even dust can be different from place to place :P
