Quick concept head of the Udyrfrykte

Submitted by Shushine on

I don't plan on continuing this model, but I thought I might just post these pics to show what the Udyrfrykte would look like with a higher polycount to help others who might want to model it.

Personally, I think Skyrim's unique troll model does the job well enough that the as of yet totally unclaimed creatures should be done first, but good job.

Yeah, Skyrim's troll model does the trick well enough. But it's a nice job. I vaguely remember Morrowind had a helmet that looked very similar to this though, i wonder if it can be turned in to a helmet.

The Trollbone Helm? It would be nice to have it made by modifying the Troll head model, but I think we'd be good with a Trollbone mod for a while.

@lastmaster, I think the helmet was called a dreugh helmet. I think it was red and I think their was a whole set of armor.

I can't quite remember, but you might be on to something.

I found this incomplete helmet collection and didn't see anything like the helmet i remembered it. (Maybe i was remembering the concept art of Chitin Helmet)

The Dreugh Helmet is more tall than it is long, and it's really not that clear due to the bad model detail in Morrowind. I think it's the one on the third of the left of the top shelf in that image.

The Trollbone helm is in the middle of the bottom shelf.

Sea of Ghosts has a modified troll as its Udyrfrykte

The Dreugh helmet is on the middle row, far right. The one you were looking at was netch leather (not boiled).

Also: Dreugh armor is incomplete. There is only a helmet, cuirass, and shield.

PS: Great model! :)
