Cannot Move Player Character

Submitted by Nycto on

Hey all.

So I've been wanting to try Skywind as I am a huge fan of Morrowind, and so I went getting the mod installed, and well, it looks great.  Problem is, I cannot move.  When I use the cow wrldmorrowind x x command, everything sort of bounces up and down...as if I was hitting the jump button repeatedly.  My guess is that I stuck something in the wrong spot when moving files over to the Data subfolder, either that or I have a setting tweaked.  Anyone care to give me a hand?

Uninstall all mods except dlcs and Skywind, and try with a new character. You most likely have bad/conflicting mods.

The only modifications to Skyrim are the Bethesda issued High Resolution Pack, and the Fall of the Space Core plugin.  Morrowind consists of the core game, and the official expansions.  The only non Bethesda mod is Skywind.

If there is any information that I can provide that would be of use, please let me know.

um...whatever the issue is, it appears to have been fixed by not using a new character...I first tried to visit Morrowind with a character that had not been fully created.  Using a character who had progressed through the tunnels with Hadvar fixed whatever my problem was.
