Endless loadingscreen when going to Morrowind

Hello all,

I tried to install Skywind. I followed the installation guide to the letter (i think :) ) but i can't get it to work. I must be doing something wrong.

What i did:

i downloaded all 6 files from here http://morroblivion.com/forums/skyrim/skywind-mod-releases/3323

I extracted the files to my Skyrim\data folder. Everything went into an existing folder (like sound, music, etc) except for the texture pack which seemed to needed to go to: Skyrim\data\morrowind\ (is this correct?) But why did the texture update needed to go to Skyrim\data\textures ??

I might have done something wrong here so please tell me if thats the case.

Also i tried installing LOD.

I downloaded all 3 files from here http://morroblivion.com/forums/conversion-to-skyrim/conversi...

I'm not sure if i extracted these files to the right place either.
I extracted the meshes and textures files to Skyrim\data\meshes\ & Skyrim\data\textures
Only LODsettings seemed to have to go to Skyrim\data\LODSettings

So thats how i installed everything.

When i go into skyrim in the mainmenu i enter this in the console command window:
COW WRLDMORROWIND -5 -5

Then i go to the loadingscreen and it never stops loading. This screen DOESNT freeze, nor does Skyrim crash. It just endlessly loads. I have to CTRL + ALT + DEL and end Skyrim.

I can enter normal skyrim no problem.

I also tried it without any other mods loaded but it doesnt make any difference.

I hope anybody is able to help me out here because i would really love it to go Morrowind in the Skyrim engine!

Thank you!

You were correct about the

You were correct about the texture directory, someone effed up the texture directory when they were making the rars.

As for your issue, try going to your computer/local disk/users/'Your user name'/appdata/local/skyrim
Back up and try deleting your loadorder.txt and plugins.txt, then start Skywind the current way you're trying it now.

Is your Skyrim up to date?

Is your Skyrim up to date? Are you using the Nexus Mod Manager? If so, stop it.

skyrim should be up to date.

skyrim should be up to date. It gets updated through steam. I tried launching skyrim through the skse_loader executable instead of launching with nexus mod manager, but its still the same...

Have the same problem.

Have the same problem. Install Machine's Morrowind chargen process mod

http://morroblivion.com/forums/skyrim/skywind-mod-releases/3306

and start a new game. Then you don't need to cow to Morrowind. Worked for me.
