did you run it as administrator?

I am not sure about the other error lines in the log,but the lines below seem to be stating that the installer can`t find the reg entries for the needed installs [morrowind and/or skyrim]. File "checker.pyo", line 132, in get_path File "checker.pyo", line 112, in get_reg_value

The register entries differ for different OS`s so they will be found at different locations on WinXP and Win7,I do not know if the current installer is capable of covering all OS differences, but if not there will always be problems.?

I've never had a single problem with any version of the installer since it came out.

what specs do you have?

The installer package contains two installation files in case a PC is missing files in order to run the installer, maybe you could try to install those and see if that helps with your problem.

make sure you extract the content of the assets package in your skyrim/data folder.

yes i did it but it's stay the same

Dude, you didn't copy the Assets folder into your Data files :|

Did you really download and extract the large package (3+ Gb) in your skyrim/data folder ? Because that's exactly what happens if you don't.

yes

search for bowlgreen01.nif, and paste/type in the full location where it is here in this thread

it must be in data\meshes\morrowind\clutter\bowls\bowlgreen01.nif

i can't launch the installer, all that i get is a notice that says to see the log error log for details and i don't understand what the log means. This is what's in the log:

It is not a big problem since all Beth's games are x32 bits and crash when using over 3Gb. I don't understand why people started to talk about it only now when it was the same even for original Morrowind almost 10 years ago.

LOL! Well I'm a parrot in this situation, but thanks for clearing that up with me.

Skyrim has supported 4GB of RAM since v1.3.10 but it is still a 32bit executable, so nothing more than that.  So it's 4GB not 3GB... but anyway...

maybe you should post JPEG screenshots of your skyrim data file structure. its hard to install incorrectly

It explains in video.

It is not exactly 4GB or 3GB, somewhere in between. For Oblivion the limit is around 3.5-3.7GB (from my personal experience), for Skyrim it seems like 3.1-3.2GB.
