Huleeya won't talk with me, and door to death in Vivec

I'm trying to go through the main quest, but when it comes time to talk to Huleeya in Vivec, he will not give me the details. He'll tell me to lead him to the book store. We'll get to the book store and he won't recognize he's there. He will not allow me to advance the dialogue and thus not allow me to complete the quest.

Any ideas?

One point to note- when I walk into the Cornerclub, he tells me to talk to the 4 men who are looking threatening. But when I try to talk to them they all attack. I think this factor may be important.

Also, in Vivec, if you walk all the way to the top level and come across a very wide half-moon type wooden door, you can walk right through it and you'll fall into the river under the Vivec Foreign Quarter. Not a major bug, but just something to look into.

I actually fixed that

I actually fixed that already, it will be merged in the next version.

Here try this and load a savegame before you enter the black shalk cornerclub for the first time. The dunmer will no longer attack you immediately.

Please remember the quests are not tested a lot, so sorry in advance for any bugs and any feedback is useful :)

The fix worked for me, though

The fix worked for me, though I couldn't bribe or intimidate the troublesome fools, and taunting them didn't provoke a fight. No surprise there, it's early days yet. Next time (in lieu of a working 'Taunt' or 'Bribe' function) I'll be sure my girl has a Frenzy spell. As it was, asking Huleeya to follow her to Jobasha's book store produced the desired effect, and once inside he spilled the necessary beans.

Now it's off to the Temple to interview dear old Mehra Milo...

Yeah the taunt system is not

Yeah the taunt system is not implemented yet, so no surprise here.

For the bribes, I don't remember if it was through dialogue. I'll check.

Morrowind had four separate

Morrowind had four separate dialogue topics at the top of the window for all NPCs:

  • Admire
  • Intimidate
  • Taunt
  • Bribe

Your success with using these to increase disposition was based on the speechcraft skill:
