New Member Intro

Hello everyone,

To everyone that has worked on this project:

AN AWESOME, GREAT JOB!!!

The fact that Morrowind, so very dated that it is, is still much modded - and therefore must be much loved - makes me more curious than ever to play it.

I found out about Morroblivion while searching for either Oblivion or Morrowind overhauls. I'm not sure which.

I bought Oblivion when it came out but didn't actually play into it very far before shelving it - for I don't know what reason. Maybe cause there were no good archer mods at that time.

Reading about the imminent release of Skyrim caused me to dust off the Oblivion disk and give it a try.

Then I got caught by the "Just one more mod and then I'll play it," vortex. To escape that I decided to check out Morrowind. Got the GOTY edition, installed and loaded it up. (Loved the intro before 'waking up,')

Exited the immigration office and pretty quickly decided it would need some visual modding for there to be any chance I'd play it.

Got that done with Morrowind Overhaul and very much liked the result - except that the grass is so tall! Makes it hard to see those mud crabs and mutant rats!

Finding the combat lacking I remembered finding this site and decided to try Morroblivion. My first impression, once through immigration, was "Hmmm. No grass," I'm glad to see there's a mod to fix that.

So when I leave here (Starbucks) I'll be doing a whole lot more downloading. (Really hoping Duke Patricks Melee Combat and Archery mods work in the Morroblivion world space).

Since you modders wisely did not make Morroblivion's NPCs and mobs level with the character I won't have to seek a mod solution for that Oblivion 'feature,'

Yes! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Heck by the time Skyrim is out I should be ready to play Morroblivion. lol.

THANKS AGAIN MODDERS!

YOU'RE ALL AWESOME!

I'm sure Morroblivion will be

I'm sure Morroblivion will be an awesome experience for you. Was for me :D

After you install base Morrblivion, check out this mod compilation. It will get you an amazing-looking, sounding, and more efficient Morroblivion in just one download.

Enjoy!

New to MorrOblivion

I haven't really computer gamed much since ... oh since Wizardry came out (and if anyone actually recalls that game, that tells you that my tolerance for poor graphics is really high). I've watched friends go through Morrowind, Oblivion and now Skyrim and it's been more fun to watch than play (for me).

Now I've actually loaded up Morrowind, and despite it's (relatively) older graphics, I just love the world - it's so weird.

That being said, there are a couple of things I would change if I could: the biggie being magikca regeneration while awake.

This site seems to address some of the visuals that were fine at the time, but are now pretty outdated. My big question (so far haven't found an answer in the FAQ's) is, is Morroblivion compatible with the magicka regen mods (any of them)?

Magic
The short answer to your question about Magic Regeneration is yes. Morroblivion does not interfeer with any magic-altering system. Morroblivion uses it's own spells with their own ID's, so they will be unaffected by things like LAME or Supreme Magica. Magic Regeneration is part of the Oblivion game. Morroblivion does not touch that.

Hello, I'm also another
Hello, I'm also another person who got interested in Morrowind after playing Skyrim. I loved Oblivion and had tried Morrowind along time ago but didn't get in to it at the time. Rebought both games just so I could play Morrowblivion. Finishe my installation last night and hope to get some play time in tonight. Hopefully it's awesome to experience Morrowind for the first time.

Newbie?

I been playing Elder Scrolls since Morrowind's release. I didn't get the pleasure of starting with Arena and etc because I was to young to comprehend a RPG lol.

I just found this mod the other night and I couldn't belive it at first. I am glad I found it around this time though because it looks like almost everything is done. Besides the annoying sub titles that go 100 MPH I am really happy with what you have done. I am nearly done with Skyrim's main quests so i'll be playing this more often now. Thanks for making this possible!, and i'll be helping with posting bugs ASAP.
