I would like to know if I can store objects in the chest and drums in his hut, or disappear this after a certain time?

Where to get in the normal game a player chest?
On the Download Section under ( Mods for Morroblivion ) under ( Houses_ and Download 1 and Set them Up in Your, you game Reads Numbers and your Oblivion will read the Numbers and set the Mods Up Correctly. with minimal English,cause i Run German and Russian Mods and the Game still Set them up Correct.

Heya Raubkopiesabe, I made a mod for the 'ownership' of his shack some time ago, if you use the mod the containers and bed are set for the player to use, the mod is called 'Gilnith's Shack' and it's available on Oblivion Nexus, it's best if you run through the story to get ownership and I'm afraid I haven't tested it with the quest already done
The vanilla containers however are set to respawn.
