Questions And Concerns

Submitted by IcarusBen on

I do have a few questions about Skywind's development.

1. Are any new quests/locations/characters (especially children) being added to the game?

2. Are any new books being added to the game?

3. Will Skywind suffer the same problem other games in the franchise have had where the female armor is molded to their breasts, putting them at severe risk of sternum fracture and a slow yet painful death?

4. Are more exotic weapons like kopises, machetes, tantos and throwing stars being added or will it once again be "small sword, big sword, small axe, big axe, mace, hammer?"

Hopefully a few new quests will be added - children and the like? Maybe. We'll have to get the vanilla stuff squared out if the way first.

Not sure about books, though there have been some who have expressed an interest in it.

Females and males will have pretty much the same armor. There might be some differences in how other clothing will look on the sexes, but the armor will be functional for the most part.

We've got people working on getting other weapons with unique animations and (hopefully) associated skill trees. It's not clear how many new styles will be made, but spears have been on the agenda forever.

1. yes, quests are planned which will involve new NPCs. Children may make it in later on.

2. Not sure, don't think so

3. No painful breast induced deaths will occur?

4. we are adding the old weapons. Skill trees are unfinished at this point so we may stick with skyrim, or if we get it together, we'll change it up.

I was going to say that One-Handed would be reorganized into swords (shortswords, broadswords, longswords, tantos, katanas, wakisashis, kopises, sickles, etc.) blunt weapons (maces) and axe-likes (axes, war axes, etc.) whereas Two-Handed would get bigger weapons (claymores, daikatanas [should be okatana or daito, but whatever,] spears, warhammers, battleaxes, etc.)

Archery could be repurposed into Markmanship, including shortbows, longbows, crossbows, throwing stars/knifes and javelins.
