morroblivion - Vampirism after corprus

Submitted by masterlibrarian on

Hi

many thanks to all of the developers of morroblivion, awesome work!

I've seached through the topic but I didn't find an answer so I decided to start a topic. I've been cured for corprus before becoming a vampire and I've searched for the weakness to disease in Balmora Mage Guild but without find it. Is there a way to bypass this issue or I must forget to become a vampire in Morrowind?

Thanks

Possible even without mods or console commands (although also possible with both); go to Caldera and find the mages guild, from there find Medila Indaren. Buy the spell Weakeness To Common Disease and spellcraft a spell with the effect weakness to common Disease with a magnitude of 100% casted on self.  Now just go to vampire (but be careful which one you choose, depending on which vampire you choose will decide your 'clan' - Aundae, Berne, and Quarra; just google the tomb you're going into if you're not 100% sure, or you could just do it and find out... :P)  and recast it while they are using their purple vampire touch spell on you.

Actually, I've confused Balmora with Caldera in my first post: I've already checked with Medila Indaren but she doesn't have that spell, I don't know if it is a bug of the current version (I have version 0.64). By the way, could you please suggest me a mod, please? I'm worried that using the console commands on Morroblivion could corrupt the game...

Thanks

After being hit like a punchball for an hour I manage to become a vampire. Since this game is Oblivion, resistance to disease have no effect on vampirism, unlike Morrowind, I had to figure out.
