Stunning! Skywind has a brand new logo!

Good people of Skywind, i have the pride and joy to announce that we have a new logo for the project !

I see you're already getting carried away by this news. How about reading the story of its design? 

As you can see, we love logos here. One logo per media, almost, and an average of two logos per year.

Someone said :

Like, something definitive, that would please everyone. Something we could use on every media.

From the most boring ideas to the wildest fantasies, all tracks have been explored. 
In less than a week.
Yes.
We get the job done pretty quickly here.

So in the end, we had the choice between moon-and-star or nostalgia dragon.

We ended up choosing Nerevar's personal emblem.

I came up with a few ideas that were rejected.

So i made a clearer version, which was not a spoiler, nor an illustration.

Starting to look ok.
After an evening of "hey, let's write a poem about somebody's mom on the moon crescent", Ravanna offered to model the logo.

Ravanna does cool things.

I'm pretty proud of the work that has been done here. It took time, but it was worth it.

Looks great. I'm having trouble with the Dunmeri, though. I'm reading:

SUNA-KHUN GAH-MER-KOHN NEREVAR WINOL KOGO FAL-ME HUMOREAG EN FREKA

My part-translation

BLESS-____ GREAT-ELVES-____ NEREVAR _____ UNBREAKABLE SNOW-__ ________ __ _____

Although 'freka' is Dovahzul for 'tundra' - perhaps it's not pure Dunmeri?

Unfortunately, we lost all our archived files, so i cannot help you there.
Yet, one of our landscapers found, in a hidden location, an inscription that seems to have the same wordcount and the same number of characters.

Which is, indeed, amazing.

Winol falme humore ag en Freda

It's the translation.
When we translate, word by word, it means :

Blessed king Nerevar must hold (imperitive cauz no 'd') unbreakable promise, joined (the 'ag' is linked to humore so past participle) and to protect.
So it means : "The blessed king Nerevar must hold the unbreakable promise, joined, to protect." something like that

I'll give it a go! Looks like Dwemeris. I'm seeing:

The letter I'm translating as 'N' I'm basing from "_EREVAR". As such, the letter that looks more like 'N' I'm translating as 'M', since they're similar.

Here are the mistakes I seem to have made with the Dunmeri:

SUNAKHUN GAHMERKOHN NEREVAR WINOL KOGO FALME HUMOREAG EN FREKA

However, the second 'K' in Dunmeri/Daedric doesn't look at all like a 'D' to me. None-the-less, assuming my Dwemeris is correct, and with couple of helpful web pages...

WINOL FALME HUMORE AG EN FREDA

BLESSED KING (GREAT-ELF-____) NEREVAR UNBREAKABLE
PROMISE HOLD TO JOIN [PAST PARTICIPLE MODIFIER] AND TO PROTECT

So I'd take a stab at "Blessed King Nerevar, [who] held [his] unbreakable promise to join and to protect", or something close? Perhaps I'm twisting the meaning.

as this is a wedding ring as well as a symbol of Chimer+Dwemer cooperation it has a double meaning.
