Hi,

I'm a 27 years old programming student who played the original Morrowind when it first came out and still play if from time to time. I've got a busy time in front of me, but I would love to contribute to a project that not only features one of my favorite games of all time and that defined a lot of the games I continued to play but also would be an excellent source for experience and reference for a future portfolio. I don't have much experience with scripting, done some basic WoW cheat scripts once upon a time many eons ago but mostly higher level coding like Java & C#, and recently a lot of C combined with the awesome microprocessor, Arduino. I'm willing to learn and eager to see how this project works. Also got a decent home server (4 GHz octo-core AMD, 16bg ram, 8TB storage) available if needed.

Hey Smurfz, we'd love to have you on board!

We run a kind of mentor program to help programmers like yourself get started with the language and tools we use on the project, and you can find more information on it here.

Please feel free to message me if you have further questions, and I'll look forward to hearing from you! :)

While it might not appear as appealing for you , we're also looking for programmers in Skyblivion project, which is far more programming-oriented ( at least as far as I am concerned ) than Skywind ;) Whatever your response would be, should you need any assistance , just let me or Zilav know, we'll try to help you out :)

I'd like to help with programming, too... But I think I will only be available to help (either Skywind or Skyblivion) by February :(

Haha, hands off my volunteers Ormin ;)

@gcantacini: No worries about that! Just come back and bug us in February, and we'll sort you out then :)

@Smurfz: Speaking of which, did you know they have pens with conductive ink nowadays? You should go make a paper-Duino for your Senior Project. That'd look real cool on a resume ;D

@Aurabelle: I'm going to take a look at this training thing when I get home from work tonight. I've been wanting to bite off a piece of this effort for a while and I think my schedule will finally allow for it.

Awesome! Just flick us a message if you're keen :)

Cmon, we need programmers much more than you! :P :P

Oh well, I suppose the volunteer in question is much more keen to Skywind anyways ;)
