Hey folks, my name is Daniel Langley. I actually applied to help work on Skywind a while back, but at the time I initially applied I lacked the necessary skills and abilities as well as time to dedicate to the project. Now I have the time, and I have the skills (at least I believe I do, I guess we'll have to wait and see).
I am a student at the Art Institute of Portland working towards my Bachelors in Video Game Art and Design. I've worked on numerous personal projects, most of which are modeling focused. But I also know how to do uv unwrapping, texturing, and baking normal and ao maps. I have also dabbled in the Creation Kit and have become loosley familiar with working with assets in world building and set dressing.
I was introduced to The Elder Scrolls series with Oblivion, but couldn't actually afford an Xbox 360 upon its release, so instead I bought Morrowind and played that first, which I consider myself lucky for because I instantly fell in love with Morrowind and everything that game was. I've been passionate about the Elder Scrolls series ever since and often Lore dive through the old in-game books to learn as much as I can about the world and races and religions in the game, particularly the Dunmer and their history and culture.
I have been following the progress of Skywind for a while now and figured I'd try my hand at helping contribute towards the completion of the project. It's a hugely ambitious project and will, in my opinion, revitalize the series for a lot of people, as well as introduce the story and world of Morrowind to those who never played TESIII. I am enraptured by the idea of revisiting the island of Vvardenfell in the beauty that the Creation Engine can offer, and I want to do my part in helping make this amazing dream a reality for everyone to experience.

Hi Danny!
I'm looking at your portfolio, and it seems it is rather filled with a lot of character models. Currently we are focusing on environments, would this be an issue for you?
