It does matter. Right now we are working on the vanilla Creation Kit, and it would be best to build your test cave on that . However if you already started in SSE CK , then it's alright to submit it as it is .

The main focus right now for new recruits is interior cave design. If that is something you feel comfortable helping with, we ask you submit a new sample cave using Skyrim's assets to show us that you properly understand the use of assets and can proficiently clutter a cave with rocks , plants , lighting ,FX , etc.
