First person view issues.

Submitted by Theramalse on

I just recently started playing Morroblivion and i am quite amazed with what has been done already, There is only one bug that i have found that continues to bug me. It seems that any time I save and reload my entire view is inverted! Suddenly I'm seeing upside down and backwards (From my view point it looks like i'm standing on the sky and I've grown eyes in the back of my head.) and i can't move. This problem is easily fixed by scrolling out and then scrolling back in but i have to say that it is the most annoying glitch i have seen so far. A problem i think may be related also occurs when speaking to an NPC, The best description I can offer of this problem is that it is much like watching your computer screen get sucked through a wormhole that ends in you being right in front of the NPC you are speaking with. I Think this could also possibly be caused by wearing some of the helmets from the VVardenfell imports mod and i will do my best to test that theory soon. If asked I will try my best to provide screenshots. (Although I'm not sure I can make screenshots in oblivion work.)

I'm not sure if this issue has come up before so please bear with me if it has.

As for my current mods all i have is the GOTY version of oblivion with a few stock armor replacement meshes, Morroblivion and its requirements, And Noebus's converted version of Morrowind betterclothes.

Happens to me too sometimes

Maybe because you used the slit strider before saving?

This is the transport bug and should be fixed in the next release if it already hasn't been in the latest version.

The siltstrider uses Player.MoveTo from within the dialouge response script and that causes the view axes to be inverted ... infact its a well documented bug in the enigne. You can reset the axes by talking to someone right after traveling on a siltstrider {the camera shakes wildly as the axes are reset ... but one time is enough to last until your next strider travel}.

Very Possible actually, now that i think about it thats exactly when it happens every time it happens. But i still wonder if thats not the whole problem......

Edit: Oh. Thanks Hashmi for confirming that. Its nice to know its not just me...
