If you sell an item to a merchant in Vvardenfell with Morroblivion, it stays with them forever.
I've heard of a merchant doing this in Cyrodill and people said it didn't work out well with their computers crashing eventually.
This problem should be fixed fast.

Yeah, this is a work in progress. I have been out of the country for several weeks and haven't had time to work on the merchants at all lately, but I am working on it, I really am. That was how Morrowind originally worked (sold items never disappeared) but we are moving toward the oblivion system. It is a massive amount of work (as are many of the projects, such as trainers).
