[Discussion] New High Quality Morroblivion Logo

it is simple but message is clear ! ... it can be a base to improve.

Grim_Reaper's approach nails it! The logo literally means Morrowind inside Oblivion...... +1 vote!

I'm not really good with logo making, but maybe we could color the left arm of the oblivion symbol and the star gold to give the moon and star look.

Daggerfall Rebuilt Dev

Similar to the design I was working on earlier!! I feel like the Logo is missing something though? I know the detail in the star isn't there, maybe that's it..

I think the problem with the star is that the shading and texturing does not properly match the shape of the star, so it looks like a 2D cut-out, especially when compared to the Oblivion logo around it.  Try layering in a gray-scaled photo of the star to get rid of the 2D cut-out effect.

Alternatively, we could morph and blend the Oblivion and Moon and Star together, similar to oracus0's concept.  Something like this, but with a better blending/morphing effect on the crescent and morph/strecthed/shrinked to get rid of the excess space above the star so that it is a more pleasing aspect ratio.

EDIT: I moved the star a little higher.  Here is the GIMP xcf: morroblivion_logo_2.xcf
