Download xVA Voices - the first file. Unpack it into your Data folder. Run the game. That's it.

Hey, sorry if it is obvious - but what does this do? Voice all Morroblivion characters with xVASynth?

Yes.

Yes. The ones that didn't have a voice file, that is. No more silent dialogue. Almost.

Try the voice redirector. Of course it doesn't add any new voices, but I still find it better than silent dialogue.

Also: have you installed various human-voiced resources? There's more than one mod, if you search this site.

Or try my new mod, Morroblivion Fully Voiced - xVASynth Backbone and Proof of Concept

I just got this working and it's cool having such realistic sounding voices for each character. It's a shame about how unnatural some of the speech patterns are though but I guess it can't really be helped with the current tech.

This got me curious about something. Didn't there used to be a project for Morroblivion where volunteers were voicing the dialogue in the game? I know I saw a thread or something about that, and it looked like they had quite a bit done. Is that still around and is it possible to use it? It'd be awesome to use the human recorded dialogue and then use VAsynth to fill in the gaps. Seems like a shame to let all that volunteer voice acting go to waste.

Yes, this is what I do in my

Yes, this is what I do in my own game. You have to merge various voice files together to create one set. There are several previous projects, they can all be used see this page. There are more projects even, search this site and you'll find them. It's up to you to combine, and don't forget lip sync files.

Also, I found that using the latest models for xVAsynth generates much better sounding lines than some of those in the Voices for Morroblivion. You will also need to add lip synch where it's missing, at least if you want it. It is a big job, not for the faint-hearted.

Bummer, was hoping someone

Bummer, was hoping someone might have already done something like that. I honestly wouldn't have the slightest idea what I was doing nor do I have the time to learn, unfortunately. I'll probably just stick with the VAsynth voices for now.

Edit: I actually thought about giving the real voices a try, even with it being incomplete, but I just noticed that the mediafire link for v005 is dead. Funny enough, the older v002 link still works. Is there somewhere else to find the newest release?
