Oblivion Crashing As Soon as I open it.

Hi, I'm a bit of a newb, but i watched all the videos and tried finding a solution to my problem before coming here. So sorry if i missed something.

Anyways, I installed the morroblivion mod and everything was working decently besides a few bugs, after playing for a while and doing some quests i decided to install a few more mods.

Graphical Overhaul mod, Bonemold Armor Replacement, Weapons Replacer Mod.

After Using Bash to install all of these the game now crashes to desktop as soon as it attempts to load.

I don't really know what I did wrong, I extracted all the files to folders in my Oblivion Mods Folders, Had BOSS organize their order, and then had BASH install them.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Missing Master File

The symptoms you descrive are indicative of a missing Master File. These ende in ".esm" Wrye Bash has a mod analyzer, and also graphically shows you what is missing.

You might also want to try this really quick. I remember this happened to me also.

Oblivion worked fine.
I then installed a mod.
And then all of a sudden Oblivion crashes on desktop before it barely even loads.

I followed UESP's instructions and it solved my problem:

Oblivion crashes on startup, I don't even get to the main menu.

Solution

Move all files in (My Documents/My Games/Oblivion) to a different location. Start the game and see if it works. If it does then you may copy back the "Save" folder back in.

While i was waiting for a reply i decided to try uninstalling the graphical overhaul mod and reinstalling and it seems to be working fine now.
