After first Writ and joining Morag Tong, none of the writs show up.

Hi,

Recently I joined the Morag Tong while playing Morroblivion 029. The problem is that when I talk to Eno Hlaalu about "Writs", he tells me "I have a writ for 'this' and 'that'." However, 'this' and 'that' never show up as topics so I cannot officially get the writs and quests from him.

I managed to do the Odaishah Yasalmibaal and Toris Saren writs, but I had to use the SetStage console command. I figured the next set of writs would be resolved, but once again, Eno Hlaalu tells me that he has writs for these people, but those people never show up as topics.

Is there any way to get these quests without the SetStage command? Just get them naturally through Eno or any other guildmaster?

Eno tells me that he has writs for Guril Retheran and Galasa Uvayn (the quests are on the links above) but when I click on "Writs" but they never show up as new topics when talking to Eno. Until now I have used the SetStage fbmwMTWrit<lastname> 10, but now that console command doesn't seem to work for those two names. Is there any way to get Morag Tong writs to show up again on the topics? Help please!

just echo'ing the OP. I have the same problem. I killed the first guy to join without being reported, turned in the quest. got the complete/joined but now the other writ topics don't show up.

Yeah, there are a lot of issues with the Morag Tong questline.

Anyone who is familiar with the questline is welcome to tackle it though; we need someone who knows this questline backwards and forwards to fix all these little issues, as it is a pretty complicated one.

Glad that I wasn't the only one having this particular problem. It wouldn't be a problem for me to fix these bugs, from what I understand the quests are there the dialogue is just broken. With any luck I should be getting the guts to my new computer tomarrow, Wensday July 20th, the earliest I could start work is the 21st.

OK I have found the cause of these non-starting quests (missing StartQuest script command when you click on "Writ") and have added it to my numerous Morag Tong fixes.

Should be included in the next version if I can get it done in time.
