when i try to lauch the game i get this error (the procedure entry point_binkcopytobufferrect@44 could not be located in the dynamic link library bink32.dll.) any ideas whats wrong?

Yeah this issue happens with a lot of other games too, not just oblivion. Get a legit copy and/or reinstall it

More information required. What operating system (ie: Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, other) and is it 32bit or 64bit?
It sounds like either your game is not installed right, the bink dll is damaged, or you have a codec conflict. Just educated guesses without more info.
Edit: some possibly useful info here: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbyerrormessage/a/binkw32dll.htm. Note that the article mentions this error is commonly caused by cracked versions of a game.
