Bloodmoon/Tribunal? Console commands?

Submitted by trhshred on

So I recently downloaded and installed Morroblivion. Everything seems to work great.

What I'm really in the mood to do is kill some random bandits and whatnot as a Werewolf. Is Bloodmoon complete to the point where this is possible? Do we have werewolves confirmed yet?

I'd really like to cut to the chase and give myself the disease to do this via the console, or alternatively Hircine's ring. Please keep in mind I'm not a "n00b" and I've played through pretty much every quest of both games, GOTY edition, seperately. I'm just trying to get around the Bloodmoon questline this time. However, I know that the old console commands/formIDs for items, spells, etc don't work-- i've already tried "player.addspell werewolfblood" to no avail. DO we have any sort of reference list for the new formIDs for the Morrowind objects in the Oblivion console?

Yes, I know about the mods made for Oblivion that add Lycanthropy, etc. I'd just rather avoid having to install more than what I need.

I DID look at the forum pretty extensively, and found no posts more recent than several months ago saying Bloodmoon & Tribunal were still in progress. Any word on this?

Not to my knowledge, no.  A lot of Bloodmoon and Tribunal has been worked on, but it is not really "done" - what it needs are several advanced players who are familiar with the questlines to go through and fix all of the bugs as they play through

Nope, except for opening the construction kit and looking it up.

Actually, I would recommend that approach if you just want to "kill some random bandits and whatnot as a Werewolf."  Installing a Lycanthopy mod is a pretty easy task compared to installing all of Morroblivion.

Thank you for your reply!

How does one go about applying for that position? Obviously as a volunteer, but who do I approach?

Nope, except for opening the construction kit and looking it up.

Ahhh, see, that's one thing I've never done before. I'll have to try that. Previously I was never into modding, but right now I'm just trying to stay busy until Skyrim comes out and this whole project seemed like a great way to do that.

In terms of simplicity of installation, this is true, but the only good-looking mod I've tried is Curse of Hircine and it's... okay, I guess. The transformation process is clumsy and it has lots of bugs. I was hoping for something more legit, but I'll just have to be patient and wait. :P
