When starting a new game I am immediately taken to the boat in Morrowind and the race screen appears. However, all I can see is my character and everything else is yellow with the "wtf! I'm a missing mesh" mesh. After creating my character I click through the dialogue boxes and then my game crashes. I am also seeing this screen when I open Wyre Bash.

Also, when I tried to extract the files everything went smoothly until it got to around 75% done and then it skipped a bunch and said it had errors. I am redownloading the files as I type this and I will try to install everything again but any idea what is wrong?

That is the problem. You did not get all files 100% downloaded. Make sure each file is the right file size - the first five are 500MB each. The last one is only 7MB.
