Main Quest stopped. | Morroblivion

I have become the Nerevarine of all tribes and Hortqtor of all Houses. I received the notice to speak w/Saryoni. I spoke to the healer and picked the lock to Saryoni's office. Saryoni doesn't offer the option to speak with Vivec. so I headed over to Red Mountain, but Sunder and Keening are not there. Do they not show up in game until I have had the chat Vivec and received wraithguard? Also, do I need to use the "setstage" cheat to continue?

You must get a key from Danso Indules; "talking to her" by itself is not enough. If you had to pick the lock, then I'm assuming you did not get the key. You can't just break into the Archcannon's office and expect him to be fine with it. Once you talk to the Archcannon, the topic you need is "Temple's Doctrine".

Sorry, I was wrong. I DID get the key. In fact, I've gone back and received the key again. Still nothing from Saryoni. I've just gone ahead with the setstage cheat. I'll check again, but I don't remember the Temple Doctrine option. Thanks for the help.

so what is the setstage code thing? I am having the same problem except i've got the key and the dialogue option. but when i ask about temple's doctrine, all he says is the nerevarine is bad and that he shall be attacked by ordinators or something along those lines. he doesn't say anything about meeting vivec. please help, i really wanna finish off the main quest (i havn't played it before).

Stage 30 is what happens when you talk to Saroni about meeting Vivec. To get to that point: * Athyn Sarethi gives you a package and a note: this starts the whole process. Without this, nothing can proceed. Sarethi should give you the package when he names you Hortator. * If you are 20+ level, AND have 50+ Fame, you can skip everything else and go talk to Saroni. Nibanni will start nagging you to do this if you talk to her and meet the criteria. * You must speak to Danso, who is standing outside in the Temple district. She gives you the key to Saroni's office, and THIS is what enables you to talk to Saroni, otherwise you are just coming in unannounced. If you do not get a Journal Update when talking to Danso, then THAT is a problem, and I would need the specifics about that interview.
