Please Keep Working On This Mod

Submitted by Evil Metro on

Me, along with many other people find Skyrim boring and bland after a while, and I want to come back to Oblivion and play this wonderful mod again. I hope you guys still continue to develop this mod, this is the only reason why I always keep coming back to Oblivion.

This project is way past the point where you can hope work will continue at any type of pace. Currently, Qwertyasdfgh is the ONLY one doing any work on it, and Sjors Boomschors on his voiced dialog project. Skyrim has killed this project, and unless some others jump in to help, it will stay dead. There is no ETA on when I myself will be able to pick up and work on it again, but will be many months at the very least. So, if you want work to continue, then how about a little help? If you don't know how to mod, then now is the time to learn; I didn't know anything when I started, either...

Same here, Dave B. I really wish to contribute to this project but i don't have a decent pc to run oblivion yet and I'm really busy with my exams atm. I too don't have an ETA when I will get the pc and time to do it. Hopefully, by the end of this year, I will get everything sorted but there is no guarantee. I don't want to promise something which I couldn't fulfill. I hope to finish the remaining quests and maybe restore the missing lore topics. And maybe some other stuff, but it's too early to tell at the moment. Edit: Once I have everything together, I will contact you immediately Dave B.

I know just minimal Construction Set skills, I've made and released my own minor mods here and there, but nothing close to the skill any of you have. Although I cannot make textures or meshes (failed horribly at learning how to make/modify meshes), I know how to navigate CS very well, I could do a few simple tasks if needed.

Hello!

I would like to help! I don't want to see this mod stopped! I have an upcoming exam so I have little time now, but modding would be a nice way to relax after studing. Also I will be completely free to help in full time after the first half of july.

I have never published a mod, and while I am not a pro with the CS by far, but I am not entirerly useless either. I don't know anything about scripting or programming,  but if you need new 3D models, textures, bump-mapping and stuff like that, I can help with that! Probably with animations too if they are not too complicated.

If you want my help, please just pm me!

Edit: changed some spelling.

I am working on something as well, its kind of like an extention of the original ESP converter so that it can handle scripts, dialouge and quests. I am hoping that it will help finish triunal and bloodmoon (unless someone, doing things manually, beats me to it :p)  ...  and other user made mods like Tamriel Rebuilt. It might even be useful in making repetitve modding taks like rebalancing the levelled lists etc.

Its rather early to tell if it will ever be successful ... or even possible ... but  anyways: https://github.com/Hashmi1/ESPconverter

I would really hope you guys would decide to step up and continue this mod I've played them all morrowind 2011, better bodies, heads, & clothes, etc. but if you could have the game of Morrowind with Oblivion graphics now that would be amazing I don't know how to use CS but I will learn for this mod and from all my days of making texture packs between Elder Scrolls games for Minecraft I think I'll do pretty well with meshes and textures so if you need some help just send me an e-mail.

I plan on readding most of morrowind weapons back in, I personally hate oblivions weapons  and hat having all those weapon meshes go to waste.

I also plan on replacing some of those old flat normals with proper ones.

that is when and if I feel like downloading that big ass  2.5 g file and reinstalling morrobilivion :)
