Hi, I played for like 10 mins, I was swimming in a river when the game crashed. "Oblivion stops working". When I try reloading the last save, it crashes again. I tried several saves and re-installing the whole thing. No luck.

EDIT: most NPCs don't talk. I don't "hear" them, I only see the subs.

Check if Shivering isles and
Check if Shivering isles and Morroblivion are correctly installed.(corrupted or missing mesh can cause trouble) Try with the only morrowind_ob.esm active. (deactivate even the bashed patch) if now the game start, try to reactivate your mods (for now without the bashed patch) and download Boss to update the load order. if so work rebuild and reactivate the bashed patch. P.S The npcs that don't talk is normal.
