mod compatibility patch questions

Submitted by unkownxgamer on

i have some questions regarding popular mods on the nexus in particular skyre and BSR

1skyre

skyre makes the game a lot harder but its very popular so i guess you know of it my question simply is is it going to be compatible with skywind?

2 BSR

BSR improves on the vampire gameplay a lot even more so some people have said they cant play normal characters anymore it also restores some things morrowind vampires had like sun damage

3 SKSE(duh)

i am sure you know skse my question is well not a question i just want to say you can probably recreate the morowind dialogue system with it(look at the mod convenient horses it has a menu system i think can be build of other mods did it as well but i think this one used it the best

thats all

SKRE

Probably, because we decided to not alter the stat system.

BSR

No clue, we're still working on vampire diseases.

SKSE

SKSE will actually be required to play Skywind. We may end up having our own version to fix up a few script related things.

I know I was thinking about working on a compatibilty patch for Frostfall/Frostfall - Ashes. But nothing done yet and no promise. I have no idea about the complexity of the scripts. And that would be an optional download of course.

I might express not the most popular opinion here, but I don't like to see Skyrim mods in Skywind. It should have it's own mechanics, stats, spells, armors, etc. to implement the original Morrowind's experience.

You already have official DLC to play (a part of) Morrowind with Skyrim's mechanics and mods.
