MOTF - Ten Basics Rules

Submitted by DavidWolf on

So since we are having problems understanding each other, I will like to share this list, is a list of simple rules that you will need to follow and understand in order to be part of MOTF.

  1. Everyone has a telent or skill. Don't push yourself with an impossible task.
  2. Everyone is able do something for the project even the most unexperienced person can.
  3. You're always going to do what you want. Even if you say, that you don't.
  4. No one is in charge, and everyone is. This is a modding project, not a part time job.
  5. You deserve respect for your work, and also, everyone else deserves respect for their work too.
  6. We discuss, we don't tell, we ask, we don't demand.
  7. Do first, share later, we can't do nothing by just chatting.
  8. You don't have time to lose, and we don't likewise. Don't complain, instead try to solve.
  9. Always ask before comment, and be always respecful.
  10. If you are not having fun, you can leave the project. Come back only if you want, and not because " you have to."

here's the message he sent me : " Re: oblivion Yes I was working with the silgrad tower team. I think I heard of you guys, but Im not really to deep into the whole modding community. Na,.... of course I'd love to share my files with you guys. Its the one condition I put on the silgard people,... I believe in sharing work amongst the community, and besides it's not like I'm the best and when people improve on my work I learn from them too. I'd have to search for these files on my backup, so that might take some time, if you want you could request these files from razorwing (i think thats his name) from the silgrad forum, and let him know I'm cool with you guys having the 3d files. After all, I've been so busy lately there is no way I'd have time to update my work on the kwama and it'd be a shame to see it go to waste... If they wot let you, then just give me some time to look for the files and send them directly to you. As for helping you guys out, I'd love too, its just Im kindof busy at the moment. But who knows...." i asked him to send the files to me himself because i don't know razorwing personally, although i know he's one hell of a modder

Great that sounds awesome, but sadly that is totally off topic. Let us try to keep the order in the Forum, shall we? Hugs, David Wolf ;)

I like rule #2 "Everyone is able do something for the project even the most unexperienced person can." I think instead of people just watching and waiting, they should get involed. I for one only have limited knowledge of the construction set, but am learning and have decided to add in the text that wasn't converted over. Every little bit helps.

That's right. Everyone can do something for the project, there's no limit. Thanks for reading the rules.
