Once the full mod is complete, an expansion set on the mainland would be a perfect way to follow up. If you all remember Tamriel Rebuilt, it was a very cool effort to create the rest of Morrowind in TE3. I've seen a huge ammount of talent sign up for this project, and it no doubt skyrocketed with the dev video that just got released (that's why I signed up). Once the full mod is complete, I bet a buttload of people would get on board for an expansion pack, full of original content created by the same people who brought Skywind to life. With enough people I think it'd be feasible to make, and it'd give everyone a chance to get involved in the Elder Scrolls universe, as well as breathe new life into Morrowind in their own way. We'd have all the experience, resources, and people required to make a full-blown expansion packed with original content to keep the story of Morrowind going.
Just a thought though, and of course this is down the road, once Skywind is 100% complete. What do you guys think?
If someone wants to do that,
If someone wants to do that, be my guest. Grab the height map and generate the landmass/LOD and then start making the game. have fun!

They are working on map 4 now, I think. The part with the city of Almalexia (and Mournhold within it like the Vatican).
I'm quite positive that Zilav
I'm quite positive that Zilav and Ormin could easily convert over TR if they really wanted to. But the thing is, well, TR isn't done yet. It's still WIP. And two, TR would create sooooooooo much work. We're not even done with Morrowind or the expansions yet, and dumping even more work on our plates would be a really stupid move.
The problem is that how are
The problem is that how are we supposed to upgrade to the latest map if we work on an older map? Best to wait until TR has the full mainland and when it will be finished, we would be already remaking this game in TES 7.
I would not be surprised if
I would not be surprised if one day someone rebuilt all of tamriel, most likely after ESO comes out. On another note I would dig working on the voices for the possible expansion :)
Let Tamriel Rebuilt do this.
Let Tamriel Rebuilt do this. I really don't think we should bother with the rest of Morrowind, as firstly it wasn't in the original game, and secondly I think our post-release time of Skywind would be much better off focused on eliminating bugs, optimizing the world space (so people get decent fps there), and making incompatibility workarounds. That's just me. I know I have no say as to what goes on in this project until I actually contribute, but I think I'm not just speaking for myself.
To be honest. It would be
To be honest. It would be sorta cool. But I would rather see Daggerfall rodone. TR is a pipe dream with the Skyrim engine limitations. But Daggerfall might be doable if we could get a good height map and layout of the realm. But that is also way down the road seeing that Skywind and SkyOblivion have to be finished 1st.
^ Daggerfall might be redone
^ Daggerfall might be redone after TESVI is released. I can barely see us finishing Skyblivion before it's out anyways.

Project Cyrodiil and Skyrim: Home of the Nords are working to build those respective provinces in Morrowind based on the PGE, and they're scaled and placed so that when they're finished they will link up with a finished TR. The ultimate goal is to build all of Tamriel in Morrowind.
ya i dislike it to include
ya i dislike it to include the rest of morrowind because u dont nowe a thing about it and u would have to make a lot up also and a lot wil think it should be diferent
when skywind and skyblivion is moslty done i would say remake the elder scroll game that was before morrowind and no that isnt elder scroll 2 thats way older and random generated
i say the elder scrolls adventure redgaurd it got voise acting dwemmer, a dragon, a soul stealing witch sload , goblins and trolls its a good looking game for its time but the machanics are bad what beeing in a skyrim enging would fix
think about it
ore play it if u can find it (i found it on pirate bay but that isnt legal so dont do that)
If anything, will we at least
If anything, will we at least be able to see an inaccessible version of the mainland from Vvardenfell? Sort of a plain dark heightmap, like Vvardenfell during Dragonborn? That'd be pretty cool.
this is like thinking about
this is like thinking about traveling to alpha centuri when you're building a rocket to mars in your backyard.
Yeah Rav hahaha. Although,
Yeah Rav hahaha. Although, the height map there would be pretty awesome, other wise the classic "Bethesda province island thing" will take place.

wikipedia
Bethesda claims that the scale of the game(Daggerfall) is the size of Great Britain:[2] around 229,848 square kilometers/ 88,745 sq miles. The game world features over 15,000 towns, cities, villages, and dungeons for the player's character to explore. According to Todd Howard, game director and executive producer for Bethesda, the game's sequel, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, is 0.01% the size of Daggerfall, but most of Daggerfall's terrain was randomly generated. Vvardenfell, the explorable part of Morrowind in the third game has 10 square miles (25.9 square kilometers).[3][4] The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has approximately 16 square miles (41.4 square kilometers) to explore.[5] In Daggerfall, there are 750,000+ non-player characters (NPCs) for the player to interact with, compared to the count of around 1,000 NPCs found in Morrowind and Oblivion
