I started playing Elder Scrolls with Morrowind way back in 2002 at my cousin's house. A few years later, remembering my enthusiasm for the intricate world of the game he bought me the GOTY edition for PC, complete with Bloodmoon and Tirbunal. Unfortunately, at that time I had bought a MacBook because graduating high school I thought I might go into audio engineering. At the time I didn't know about BootCamp, and was much more focused on playing music than video games.
I had just "gone solo' after the break-up of a heavy metal band which I was the bassist of. Wanting a change of pace I decided to take the self-produced acoustic singer-songwriter track, and thus bought a mac and a presonus recording set-up. I had been somewhat of a theatre geek in high school so I was used to wearing many different hats. Going through college I played in various bands with friends and practiced my recording techniques, but during that time I was introduced to tai chi. I had been doing meditation before then and the teacher was very inspiring, my practice became more serious as time went on.
After graduation I spent a year and a half working and trying to get bands started in Chicago, but icy spears of the city's wind made socialization difficult. It was around that time that my MacBook finally broke and I inherited my mother's old Acer. It had Windows XP and was one of the original tablet conversions - the heavy ones with the swivel screens. It was perfect for finally getting back into Morrowind. It didn't take long for me to get into the wealth of mods that existed online. Even though I had been a fan of the game for eight years or so, spring 2010 - summer 2012 we're all about Morrowind for me (I didn't own a console or tv right after graduation).
Lucky enough I met my current girlfriend - who has been with me for 3.5 years, living together 2.5 years - who motivated me to go outside and reapply to graduate school. Now I am two years through - having transferred once - and am at a point where I can start to have hobbies again. Besides getting back into music (she also plays) we bought an Xbox, of course I had to get Skyrim. That was last October. Since then I've gotten all the expansions and developed eight different characters. Last week I thought about playing Morrowind again, and was inevitably led back to the modding community again. That's when I first saw videos of Skywind.
Knowing that my 500MHz flintstone's processor wouldn't be able to handle Skyrim, I confirmed by downloading/installing MSOG.3/Tamriel Rebuilt. Couldn't even get past character creation. I've been wanting to get a laptop anyway for sometime as that beast is heavy and only good on AC, but at my student's $0/hour salary I'm putting that off temporarily until I find a part-time job. Just moved last August and have only found odd jobs so far. My girlfriend however has a sweet iMac that she uses in her life as a video editor/cinematographer. Shes not into the idea of BootCamp (plus I want a laptop so I can HDMI to our giant TV) but it is perfect for 2D design and audio recording/editing. Did I mention I was into 2D art design as well? I've always liked pencil sketching and additionally used to make all the school's theatre posters using photoshop/illustrator.
Basically at this point I can really only be counted on for voice acting (have willing male and female voice) and 2D design work, but once I am in possession of a machine with the capability I will ready/willing to work on level design/editing, quest porting, and general modding. I'm pretty quick with new technology so although I expect differences from the Morrowind Construction Set I am confident I can figure it out. I will be reguarly visiting the forums checking in with general tasks as well.

P.S. Did anyone else play RPG Maker way back when? I made half a game with that which was a fraction as ambitious as Skywind/Skyblivion. Woot for making the best games instead of waiting them!
