Hey all!
I've been working on a variation of TES theme and I would love any feedback you have to offer :)
Edit: Here is the newest version. I took in to account all of your awesome feedback and I hope you all enjoy it :)

Hey man, it sounds really good but I got a strong retro vibe out of it - not sure why, but it was especially prevalent at the very start.
Nice job, though if I may humbly suggest, it could use without the echo on the piano. But whatever you think is best, go for it. It is your vision
@LASentery Thank you! Though I'm not really sure what you mean by "retro", do you mean the way it sounded overall or the actual instrumentation?
@Yours Truly Thanks man! Everything is in the early stages so a lot could change. I'll be sure to try out a lot of different piano sounds ;)
It was one of the individual instruments, no idea what it's called (I don't listen to music at all) but it was like a low violin - the beat just gives it some kind of olden days feeling.
Viola? Maybe a cello? (I haven't listened yet, so I couldn't tell you for sure, but that's my guess based on your description.)
is that a viola or a cello, or just a regular violin?
Anyway, does not matter, I love it.
Maybe it could use more of a buildup to a climax, just like the original Morrowind theme, but that is just my opinion.
I think that would make some great trailer music, but I agree it could do with more of a climax so to speak.
It mostly reminds me of Final Fantasy VI/6.
Wow. Thanks for all the feedback so far. A lot of you have mentioned confusions on the string instruments...well the fact is that I'm making this and all my other projects with some free software that came bundled with my tiny midi keyboard. The "strings" instrument is sorta low quality and it's just that: strings. It's basically the same synthetic string note being played in on each instrument in their respective octaves(sorry if that confuses any non-music people. ask and I'll try and explain better) :/
But anyway, thanks again for your feedback I hope you all enjoy the final product :)
I like the style of it, but I think the main theme should be more prominent throughout the song, good job though.
Some other ambience I threw together.
In case anyone on missed my latest update at the top of the thread.
