Hello, I didn't know where else to post this so I hope this is okay. I have some issues with Morroblivion that I hope someone can help me with. I went through the installation instructions and followed each one as best as I could, using Wyre Bash, and I thought I did everything right, although it seems as if Wyre Bash has updated or changed since the installation instructions were posted. I went to launch Oblivion after I completed everything, I assume that's what I am supposed to launch at least, and as soon as the launcher pops up and I press play, it tries to launch but it crashes immediately. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I can do to help with this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Edit: As I've been thinking I realized I couldn't follow the instructions to the letter because of the differences I saw in Wyre Bash compared to the images and what the instructions asked. I'm not sure what I really did wrong along the way, so if someone could help me figure that out I'd be grateful. I can tell you the point in the instructions during which I feel I began to misunderstand, so we can more easily identify at what point I messed up.
On my computer its actually
On my computer its actually "Morrowind_ob.esp" not .esm, and I didn't know if that could be part of my problem or not. I would like to add that I am not very computer smart so I apologize beforehand lol. I don't have anything labeled specifically "obse_loader.exe" but I do have another .exe file to launch the game with, just plain "Oblivion.exe" Also, as I was following along with the installation instructions I noticed little details didn't quite add up to what I was looking at in Wyre Bash, such as this part
"Go to Installers tab in Wrye Bash again. If you followed previous step right, you'll see Morroblivion archive on the left in the package list. Select it and you'll see a list of sub-packages in the middle of the screen.Tick '00 Core' (always) and any of the optional sub-packages (they are prefixed with 01) you like. Then right-click on Morroblivion archive and select 'Install'."
I didn't actually see "Morroblivion archive" anywhere on my screen, instead I saw the list of subpackages by themselves but were not labeled as subpackages, and none were installed. There were no boxes to "tick", but I installed each individually by right clicking and clicking install. I figured this would have the same effect as what the instructions were asking. I can include a picture of what I see in Wyre Bash. I'm thinking it may be possible I extracted these to the wrong folder although I did what the instructions asked. And I did Part II in the instructions, I remember specifying the paths and seeing the success message. I think I may go back and do that again though because I did that before I downloaded Wyre Bash, and before I downloaded Bash I still had Oblivion in Program Files, which doesn't work for Bash.

Pay attention there are a
Pay attention there are a morrowind_ob.esp AND a morrowind_ob.esm. You must activate both
I don't have anything labeled
I don't have anything labeled specifically "obse_loader.exe"
This means you haven't installed OBSE correctly - it has it's own installation instructions in the readme.
As for Wrye Bash - it looks like you've unpacked the archive in Bash Installers folder, instead of copying it there. That's not really a problem, because WB will install everything correctly either way.
And yes, like llde said, you'll need both Morrowind_ob.esm and .esp. Please, post your load order ('Mods' tab in WB).
You did Download the 50 mb
You did Download the 50 mb Master File, then Extract it and Run the Installer. to Create Morrowind_ob.esm
I'm having a similar issue. I
I'm having a similar issue. I followed the instructions the best I could. I successfully installed OBSE and Wyrebash, I have all of the ESM files and the ESP files, I have the checked in the oblivion loader as well as in Wyrebash. (I'm running it from Steam) and I have the steam community checkbox selected, but my game is booting into vanilla Oblivion. It also brings a text box (ingame) that says "MenuQue is not installed" Any ideas?

Does the game start without
Does the game start without Morroblivion installed? Do you start the game with Admin privileges? Try loading the unofficial patch as the first .esp file, right after Morrowind_ob.esm. Also, please follow the install instructions for obse correctly, you don't need the obse_loader.exe if you have the steam version.
well this is a whole new
well this is a whole new problem.. seems the game just crashes from a fresh steam download with absolutely nothing changed. don't suppose to have a link to a useful forum to help me troubleshoot this? i understand if you don't its not your place to troubleshoot oblivion.
Delete everything in
Delete everything in documents/My Games/Oblivion if that folder exists and then start the game.
For general Oblivion support the best place is the official forums, the Steam Forums and just googling what your problem is.
huzzah! i renamed the
huzzah! i renamed the oblivion folder in my docs to oblivion.old and it isn't crashing anymore.
might have something to do with the fact i played the dvd version of oblivion and never actually tried to load the steam oblivion. and now that i wanted to play morrowblivion it was easier to deal with the steam edition.
if i have further issues i'll get back to you.
OK! finally got everything
OK! finally got everything working. now to try out some of the HD graphics packs on nexusmods.com. many thanks for being pointed in the right direction.
I was having troubles with loading, and stuttering, and freezing and was scratching my head as to why. then noticed that others games started doing it, then finally steam was have seizures itself.
who would have guessed it, but my steam hard drive suddenly stopped working while trying to get all this running. good bye 2 TB of steam inventory. it was fun while it lasted.

What you're describing is
What you're describing is usually the sign of a missing master. Make sure you have Morrowind_ob.esm installed - it's Part 2 of installation instructions.
Second, you should launch Oblivion with obse_loader.exe, not the launcher - otherwise Morroblivion wouldn't work right.
I don't think Wrye Bash has really changed much - what differences did you find?
