So I was asking in chat a little bit, and more people said Blender and 3ds max were the programs to use.
However, for work I use SketchUp, and I think I could spare some time to model stuff for the project. However, I don't forsee myself having time to learn a new program and model, I'm afraid.
So, I am wondering if I would be any use, if I were to only use SketchUp? If I'm not, I wont take offence, or anything! (Searching the forums I found a little bit of stuff people made in SketchUp, but its a tiny amount compared to everything else, so that didn't help me confirm if its any use)
Thanks for your time,
-Peter

Ill take that as a no. ;D
some artists used sketchup for making vivec cantons.
whilst the archi seems very clean in sketchup, when exported it was very messy.
If there is an interior or exterior we need, that is very flowing (velothi tomb interiors comes to mind) then it could work.
But we'd need to perfect our export settings to max.
Its probably the way sketchup handles faces, trying to make as few as possible to increase speeds. Thanks for the info, ill keep an eye on the project, to see if i can be any help in the future!
