Books, Journals and Notes

Hi folks,

I am the author of Book Covers Skyrim and I was wondering if you had plans yet for the Book, Journals and Notes in SkyWind. I wanted to say that I would be more than happy to give permission in advance for any asset from Book Covers Skyrim to be used in the project.

I understand that the star on the spines of the Skyrim skill books will probably not be appropriate for SkyWind so I am pleased to say that the PSD source for all the Books has already been made available on the Book Covers Skyrim page and I have the originals for the Journals and Notes too.

I am currently working on Book Covers Skyrim - Lost Library which will bring new covers to Skyrim for all the Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion books that never made it into Skyrim so if you want me to prioritise the Morrowind covers, feel free to let me know.

I have the current meshes for the Books, Journals and Notes in the Skyrim Nexus under the Better Book, Journal or Note Mesh modders resources.

If you have it all in hand I understand, but if you want to use any asset from Book Covers Skyrim, you have permission to do anything with them.

As an add on mod, that would be a great addition. I've already been merging a book cover mod into my personal combination of book mods that cover Skyrim/Skywind books. Added in the AdvancedSpeech script and a few other mods but due to this, I can't release it to anyone else. So please save me some work by releasing your mod for Skywind!

If your a mod author and you want to suggest your mod that you think we can use please send a link over at the "game mechanics hub" so me and Eham can look it over. I do believe that Eham was working on a journal entry system so we may have use of your mod. :)

Thanks for your help. Also if you have suggestions or ideas of what you might like to see in skywind you can send them over to the same thread and we may actually make them a reality.
