Morrowind Fog

Submitted by Asus on

In Morrowind there 'seemed' to be a lot of fog/fogginess in the game. I know Skywind is a mod for Skyrim, but it would be nice to see more 'fogginess' in Skywind. Before anyone starts flaming me with: "There is plenty of fog in Skywind!.... you don't know what you're talking about!" Keep in mind I'm going by what I've seen in the trailers on YouTube. I haven't seen all the Skywind trailers so maybe there already is a lot of fog.

With more fog in Skywind it would make the mod/game feel more like Morrowind... IMHO

Anyway, you are all doing such a great job, and Skywind is looking amazing! Keep up the good work!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that fog just a way of bethesda hiding render distance?

Yeah, it's not actual fog, it's just objects fading out because there was no distant terrain. But to make the graphics better, some more colour appropirate fog would definitely be good.

To answer your question yes that is probably a reason behind why there appears to be fog in the game, however your question to me fails to address my point: Morrowind appeared to have a lot of fog in the game.

... and my overall point: Skywind could have more 'fog' to make it feel more like Morrowind...  and that is simply my opinion on the matter.

It takes like 10 minutes in CK to add fog in weathers for anyone using Creation Kit wiki, and dozens of thousands of hours to create everything else required for Skywind.

I'm sure you can spend 10 minutes yourself.

Well if it ONLY takes 10 minutes then maybe YOU should add it... TROLL

@asus Wow... really? That's really rude, to say the least. Perhaps, it'd be best if you stopped posting.
