No Sheogorath's Signet Ring

I was taking a Fighter's Guild quest "The necromancer of Vas"(http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:The_Necromancer_of_Vas). When I was near Vas, I've recieved a quest note, what Staada(http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Staada) was killed by me, and I must return to Azura(but I don't kill her).

So i go to the island where Staada was. I see her dead body and Hungers with Daedroth around. I guess they are kill her. But i don't know who exactly.

Getting NPC's and creatures to play nice with each other in Morrowind has been a major challenge. Morrowind has NPC's and creatures in close proximity in ways that Oblivion doesn't. I have updated Staada's factions so that she should now be friendly with the beasts around her, and so that she will be hostile toward the player.

I've killed Staada and there no Sheogorath's Signet Ring on her body. I'm using v058.

Playing V058 Replayed Azura Quest Straada had ring on her.Has Quest been altered you get to keep Sheogorath's Signet Ring.
