This is probably a noob question but...

Hello

I have installed and spent some time with skywind and i love it, i spend ages just roaming around skyrim, as i did with cyroldil and morrowind. I would love it if i could run from one end of skyrim, to the other end of morrowind in one go.

Theres probably a good reason for this, but why can't morrowind be in the same worldspace as skyrim, so you could travel between them without having to jump to a whole new worldspace?

Is it because load times would be horrific when you exit a building back into the main worldspace or is there more to it then that.

Not that i'm complaining, i'm really looking forward to watching this project grow, but i was just curious about any technical reasons why it can't or won't be done?

The main reason is

The main reason is becuase Morrowind(game) only has Vvardenfell so it doesn't connect to Skyrim. The next issue is that even if we did make the main land of Morrowind the games are scaled differently Vvardenfel in Morrowind is 3/4 the size of Skyrim"(province). When in Skyrim(game Vvardenfell(island) is like 1/3 the size. so if we did connect them they wouldn't line up at all.

load times don't matter because the game only loads so many cells at once (in depends on the quality you play on) like the 9 closest cell are loaded after that the rest is just lod

In short it could be done but but would require way to much work for basically no reward at all. not to mention the game are in complete different time lines and if you just run across one border and 200 years pass then immersion goes out the window
