Alit

Alits have been attacking me with as much killing intent as appropriate.  What items are you wearing and what race are you?  I can only think of maybe the knights of the nine expansion gave you those boots that makes animals like you or something. 

I figured I'd start my Oblivion modding adventure with this because it looked easy.

Diseased Alits and regular Alits act just fine, probably why others could not repeat it. Blighted Alits have a bugged value for personality (200 instead of 50) that causes an integer underflow on Disposition, which the game rounds down to 100. So the Blighted Alits love everybody. Neato! I attached a .zip containing my trivial little fix, as the bare .esp would not upload.

Yep, I have the same issue. They definitely seem to be trying to attack, but a bug, possibly in animation, is prevent them from hitting me.

The blighted alit having 200 personality might be a bug or might be like that for a reason.

The blighted alit in Morrowind had a personality of 200, the normal alit had 50. Because of this I'm not sure it is wise changing the blighted alits personality, allthough I think it is quite boring running into one as they never attack.

The other alits however do attack. And doesn't do much damage. none at all as a matter of fact. which is equally boring.

Worked perfectly for me. =)  Thanks very much!  Was very dissapointing when I stumbled, exhausted, upon an Alit, and didn't have to fight for my life!

I'll let you know if I come across any bugs with the fix.
