After Skyrim Morroblivion

Personally Skyrim is the worst elder scrolls game ever. I love the graphical improvements and duel wield, but its story it just terrible. It doesnt feel like the other elder scrolls. I dont know what we should do to attract attention. Until the creation kit comes out we can just keep doing what we normally do. When it comes out we can explore what we can and cant do with it. Once we have a release for Skyrim THEN we can advertise. On second thought though think about Bethesda and how they do not like morroblivion and think its gone;. Advertising would be bad!

So far as attention for this potential project goes, lets keep things quiet untill we get something thats mildly playable.

From what I understand of the Morroblivion/Bethesda thing (which happened before I joined the forums, so this is just what little I've read), Bethesda was ok with Morrobrivion, but they couldnt let it go ahead because Morrowind had a lot of textures done by another company, and that company could sue bethesda if they let the textures transfer into another game. Our solution was to keep our heads down and re-make all the textures and models in the game. Its great that we got new textures anyway, they look great compared to the old ones.

I'm not sure how things would go down with another conversion, Bethesda might be cool with it, or they might get angsty. Best if we dont shout this out to the world... untill we have something the average modder can contribute to at least.

I loved replaying through Morrowind in the Oblivion engine.   It's my hope that the conversion process to Skyrim is (easier) than it was for the previous stuff since Bethesda owns everything now and there are (pre-existant) in Skyrim gates leading to Morrowind and Cyrodil.

I think porting would mean essentially starting over. Do we have the man power? What ways could we attract modders and man power? Should we put all effort into porting, or should we seperatly try to make Morroblivion complete?

I think that you should continue to work on the project despite the exit of Skyrim. I would not want to die such an important project, especially since he is almost readyand is close to release. This project is very important and interesting to many players.
