so, if you've spent any amount of time on skyrim, you know that the skill menu, while pretty to look at, is very hard to just glance at to see yours skills and perks. so far, there has not been a mod to address what i see as a real problem for the whole role-play experience. what i would like is a UI like morrowind, but i don't know how possible this is. at the very least, i would like to have a stripped down, text oriented skills menu and perk tree. unfortunately, i have no real experience modding, so if anyone out there has some pointers on what to do to get started. that is, unless skyui beats me to it!

The SKUI will be the most preferred mod out there for quiet some time.
Best to wait a month and see if the SKUI team fixes the “Skill Menu” as well.
You can always make a better one or modify there’s after the release.
Sorry I have not done any modding on Skyrim, so I have no idea where you should start.
My PC can only handle Morrowind and Oblivion, Skyrim is to demanding on my system.
