Ogrim, golden saints and winged twilights everywhere

Submitted by shawnkenyon on

Not sure this is by design or a bug or a misconfiguration on my side but I am seeing that wandering creatures in certain places appear to have leveled up and there are only winged twilights, ogrim and golden saints wandering everywhere. This is only in certain areas like Molag Amur and the grasslands but in those areas there are basically no other creatures. Also in the crypts there are only skeleton champtions and bone lords. I don't remember these being so abundant in the original game outside of daedric ruins.

Is this the way its supposed to be or is there something I might have missed in the installation or configuration. I don't have any oblivion specific mods running. My character is level 30 or so, and not overpowered.

From the FAQ I understood monsters were fixed, so I am guessing there is something wrong with my version?

Any help is appreciated. I am really loving the mod!

On the contrary to popular belief level scaling existed in original Morrowind too. It was nowhere near as blunt and noticeable as in Oblivion, but it was there.  (And the creatures mentioned by you were actually quite common in Molag Amur on higher levels - I can tell you from my own experience)
As far as I know these settings in Morroblivion are the same as in Morrowind or at least very close to them, so, no, there's nothing wrong with your installation.

Thanks. I guess it must be my memory failing. Its been a few years since I played the original Morrowind. Glad to know its not an issue with my install.
