About Morrowind Races

Submitted by Iniquity on

I think Morrowind races must be different from Skyrim races. First of all, its help to play Skyrim without turn off morrowind esm.

I don't even know how to get into the races section on the CK, even though it was easy on the CSes.

The races for each NPC should be in that choice.?

I have not tried editing them that way,if that is what you mean.?

I mean we have 1 race for Morrowind NPC and for Skyrim NPC, for example High Elfs. And if we will be edit this race for skywind that we cant play original Skyrim without turn off Skywind.

Ahh! I see what you mean now,but if all of the original Skyrim NPCs are still in the Skyrim world then leaving SkyWind activated should not effect skyrim.

And if we give any skyrim NPCs that we use for SkyWind new IDs and use a GetsInWrld condition on them [if the command is in the CK],then leaving both esm`s should be ok.?

What I mean is that editing NPCs is ok as long as they have a new ID.

Iniquity has a good point.  That way we can make the Morrowind races have all the correct Morrowind racial stats without altering the stats and powers of the Skyrim races.

I agree mycorn, thats what I mean`t by saying that if the SkyWind NPCs have different IDs then the Skyrim NPCs will not be edited.?

But would we not need unique races for them as well?  I'm going to see about making a unique set of Morrowind races with proper Morrowind skills and powers.

guys! we don't need to turn Sky wind off.

1) if we change abilities of the races it will be in separate plugin, moreover this one already exists on the nexus.

2) This abilities almost don't change a game play, they just give some new view of it.

3) We already done some work with npcs and redoing it again in order to achieve very suspicious result is just stupid, I think.

4) It gives more problems to us, than awards

Hmm, may be you are right, but i believe we will create new race in the future!

That's something I worry about as well.  Hopefully I'm just a worrier, but I foresee potential problems.
