Here's a closeup of the Indoril Shield ... [External image] Its Basically the Her Hands Shield which I retexed. We also need the Great House shields ... we already have Telvanni but we need the House shields for Hlaalu and Redoran. Needs 3d modeling ...

Here's some more: Boiled Netch [External image] Nordic Fur [External image] Daedric (no its not my fault that the oldest man alive looks as young as ever ... though it IS my fault that he is wearing the female version of the Cuirass) [External image]

Still working on those Great House shields ... expect a week or two more for it all to be done. Additionally I just wanted to point out how much better Hel Borne's Chitin Armor looks compared to the one we have in Morroblivion.

Excelent work, keep up the good job

:bump: and yeah the hel borne's chitin looks better but ingame it looks green-ish

Hmmm .... yea but the mesh looks much more like the original in Morrowind. Maybe we can work on the texture\material to make it more whitish but anyways.

Alright so ... Chitin is in the game now (and it looks fine to me) [External image] Also Imperial Steel is complete with the shield [External image]

Kia Ora Are there any downloadable armor and clothing mod about yet to replace the converted ones that broke or do we need go though fixing one at a time still? Realy choice work by the way,. great

@Daemonnn: Helbornes Chitin is a free to use modders resource ... so I am going to pack it in with the mod. (technically it is also included with Vvardenfell Imports .. but in that the armor pieces are all merged together ). @Kiwi-Hawk: There isn't any Armor fix out yet as far as I know (thats why I am making this ... lol :P ) The only fix for clothing yet is to have it replaced with Oblivion versions. ( Morroblivion Object Replacer) ...

Kia Ora I made a wee patch file for myself and I use Vvimports to fix armors that they have that I find and replce cloths with something else or use Oblivion low end ones and save the patch for now

I am done with linking all the meshes from Vvardenfell imports. There are two main tasks left to do before Armors Restored is ready: 1. Stats of Armors need to be fixed. The ESP converter copies over the Armor Ratings exactly from Morrowind. However the armor equations in Oblivion are quite different and armors have much lower values. For example in Morrowind Glass Cuirass had an Armor Rating of 50. However in oblivion the Glass Cuirass is supposed to have an Armor Rating of only 13 ... SOOoooo the armors in Morroblivion are severly overpowered. This needs to be fixed. 2. Enchantments need to be fixed. In Morrowind several Armors had a "Cast on Use" enchantment ... however in Oblivion armors can only have a "Constant Effect" enchantment. Also certain effects are no longer available in Oblivion (such as Blind, Levitate etc.) These enchantments need to be fixed.

Sorry for the delay ... I accidently formatted the drive which had my Oblivion Installation (and the only copy of Armors Restored) ... I'll have to work on it all over again ... but no worries, it isn't much work :p That is ofcourse if I can find the time and motivation to do it ... Right now I have started playing Morrowind again with MGE ...

This is very pro, keep up the good work! Morrowind looks much better now!

@Fabian: These armors were made by themythofanst in the mod "Vvardenfell Imports" .... all credit goes to him. All I am doing is adding them to Morroblivion.

hey Hashmi1 What i think this mod looks awesome. The armor one that is. Anyway will we have to download the meshes and textures again for this plug-in from Vvardenfell Imports or will you just release an esp file. Cause i would hate having to download 480 Megabytes again :(

I will just release an esp file. It will make use of the meshes\textures you would have already downloaded with Vvardenfell imports the first time. Actually the author didn't give me permission to repack the meshes ... but he was okay with an esp that "shared" the original resources.

hmm hashmi i was thinking, why didn't you add the ebony armor from the vvimports? it seems to look much alike the MW one..not so sure about the helmet though :/ EDIT: nvm... phisically it looks the same but the ebony textures are way different, also the cuirass lacks a skirt

Vvardenfell Imports Ebony has problems as you yourself noted. I didn't like it one bit For now its replaced with Oblivion Meshes ...

Anyways the images don't cover everything that I added ... I also added the artifacts Ebony Mail, Lords Mail and Dragon Bone Cuirass from Vvardenfell imports. Also I found some good trollbone somewhere else. Saviours Hide, Clavius Vile's Helm and Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw got replaced by Oblivion Meshes.

Ok so just wanted to annouce that this thing will be delayed a few months. So for now just satisfy yourselves with the pics above :p

i'll be uploading my armors restored which adds armor and a few weapons from Vvardenfell imports and a few mods i found.

Nice :) I am assuming that you did mesh replacements ... adding the Vvardernfell Import meshes to the original Morroblivion ID's ... right? If thats the case then please go through all the hand placed objects in the gameworld (you can find the placement locations by right clicking->info) ... many of the objects will be bleeding or floating into surfaces and you need to fix these manually ... Also make sure you re-adjust the stats ... Morrowind objects are "very" over-powered in the Oblivion Combat Equation. For example take ebony: Morrowind Ebony Cuirass has an armor rating of 60 Oblivion Ebony cuirass has an armor rating of 15 Morrowind Daedric Cuirass has an armor rating of 80 Oblivion Daedric Cuirass has a rating of 18.75 ... as you can see the Morroblivion item stats are extremely over powered ... and need to be fixed .

either that or make all of MW way harder like for elys uncapper players or something with ridiculously hard creatures..that would also force players to end oblivion first so it's a possibility
