Been writing/recreating music for a couple of years now.
Would love to have a chance to help you recreate some of the music for this. (if you're remaking the music)
Let me know, incredible project you have going here, guys!

I wonder the same thing Beth said we should not use there assets and some people are leaning towards legal others are leaning towards underground activity I just don't know.If we do go legal then we will have to redo all music :/
My computer hates me it just spamed sorry ;/
Well yeah i'm totally up for redoing music pieces.
Well, since we require people to actually have Morrowind/Oblivion the users who want the Morrowind music can just install a mod like this http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13286 and use the music from their Morrowind install. I'm not against re-made music, I'm just saying what they could do. =p
Yea but it would be more trouble and who likes a game without music although I would still play it.
lol first thing i remember doing when i got oblivion was copy the main theme of morrowind file into the oblivion sound files folder for exploration :P
but yes legally i guess you'd have to re-do it.
We have better editing and recording software than they did back in 2002 not to mention hundreds of dedicated people ready to help we can probally make it a lot better.
ye thats true :) tbh i dont get why bethesda would have any issues legaly with this at all! if anything it may encourage new comers to TES to go and buy morrowind just for this mod meaning more $ in there pockets as its needed to play! none of my friends back when i first bought it had ever heard of morrowind and that was a few years before oblivion, i think quite a few of TES fans came into existance from oblivion onwards and this will encourage them to buy morrowind aswell :)
Well the thing is Bethesada may be amazing and a lot more tolerant than most companies but they are a little weird :P but still they have there reasons and they made the elder scroll series so we can't really complain or at least without sounding ungratefull :D
ye i guess so, i bet you tho not long before this mod releases morrowind prices will go up a few bucks so those wanting to play it that dont already have morrowind or may need to re-buy it for what ever reason (loosing disc/old disc being scratched) which is fair does i spose! morrowind was my personal favourite and despite being an old game id be willing to pay more for it than skyrim
Yes well there is no harm in making the music for skywind, and if it sounds better and is of greater quality we use it. :))
Hi guys!
Another musician/producer here, and I would love to get together with ongoing musicproducer and give them two helping hands (and a nice set of ears) if I'm able!
Where or who should I seek out to get a task?
Hey, welcome! We're always looking for more musical talent here. I don't exactly know who to talk to, but all you need to do is make a few songs and throw up some samples here and see what everyone thinks. If they're fitting for Morrowind, they could be merged into the original soundtrack. Take a look at what a few other people have been doing on the forums. I recommend looking at some of Dragomirs and Samiads work, just to name a few. http://soundcloud.com/trolldragomir-1
