SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!
I know many here might not like this idea (as we are already trying to recreate Solstheim) but...
Not only will we have new higher quality models for everything on Solstheim, we will apparently have models for Bonemold, Chitin and Stalhrim armors and weapons! Plus one of those screenshots has reference to a Telvanni tower...
Some of those things seem to point towards dragon mounts. Not too sure about that one, maybe bethesda can make it work though.
I'll hold my opinion on that one until I see how it is implimented.
In other news, it looks like it will include creatures such as scrib, netch, bristleback, and rielking. No sign of any cliffracers yet though.
I'm not mad about this, I like the idea of seeing it re-created. I just hope this dlc doesn't break the game as much as Dawnguard did. Also, I think a lot of players seen this dlc coming tbh(I sure did). I mean the idea is pretty obvious.
I was pretty disapointed when Solstheim wasn't in the original release.
Yup, I am reading all about it.
If that new DLC is for real, then we will all be very happy.
It will bring very nice new content and give us new models to play with.
I do expect it not to come very cheap.
Dawnguard and Hearthfire should have been included in the original. Now this is DLC that might actually be worth buying.
Also, Dawnguard brought back crossbows, maybe this dlc will bring back spears. The Spear of the Hunter was a main quest item afterall.
Definitely stoked for this. I think Bethesda has seen the light?
The way I see it, this will help to reduce the work load for this mod, so it is nothing but a good thing.
Don't forget, this is going to be a completely different Morrowind experience than the origional. It's most likely going to take place in the present, instead of the 230 years in the past that Morrowind was set in.
So aside from being stoked, we don't really know what it will be like / how useful it will be (aside from what Shadow mentioned).
I agree with Clint. I am stoked about this release. :D
This is awsome I like DLC that take you to other land masses. Like point look out for fallout 3, and blood moon. I just hope this is not the last big DLC as they did say their will be less dlc content but bigger in content. I would not mind going to other boarder provences as well. Hammerfall, or high rock, or return to ciradel to see the white towers true condition. I also get the feeling their will be DLC that revolves around the thalmor. They are a bad but intresting factoin, they have a aperance several times in the main quest they seem to be just pushed aside to me.
Ps. I also would not mind more oblivian realm stuff, soul carian was meh.

Apparently someone dug up some data on spears in the update, too. So...yay! My first Skywind character will definitely be a spear-user.

Boy, following the threads in the official forums... With all this mention of Herma-Mora and the Telvanni in this patch, I wonder if we aren't getting lots of new spell effects or maybe even spellmaking! (Note: This is pure speculation, not supported by the files we actually have found.)
Also of interest, it looks like we might be getting some hand-to-hand weaponry, too. That'd be cool.

I would think the added armour types alone would be viewed as useful regardless of if the rest of the DLC ends up being helpful.
That and the Spears.
Though I find it hard to imagine a scenario where the Telvanni and other Solstheim stuff wouldn't be useful.
