I'd laugh if the entire dlc is just a few armor sets and rideable dragons.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I really don't care about riding dragons. Plus giving Beth's track record with mounts, they can't even get horses right half the time, let alone dragons.

I gotta say that I feel quite bad for the ps3 Skyrim owners. At this point the only way to appease their ps3 fanbase would be to just give them Dawnguard for free lol. The new patch note was also released for ps3, and only like one outdate actually mattered to ps3 owners.

+1 I love to journey in Skyrim on my feet, and i hate fighting system on the horse, after 10 minutes dancing with three wolves. And it would be the same thing with dragons.

Beth needs to look at the Zelda series and Red Dead Redemption for inspiration when it comes to horse stuff.

Probably beating a dead horse with this one, but Oblivion would have been perfect to have jousting, but lol no horse combat or spears.

Welp today is the day! We'll get to see the trailer for the new dlc. I heard that whole xbox 360 30 day exclusive contract is up, so we won't have to wait a whole month while 360 users have the dlc. Also rumor has it that the ps3 bugs got sorted out, so ps3 users might finally get to enjoy some dlc. =p

While Bethesda officially does not like Morroblivion, their staff sure is working to give us an easier time putting Morrowind in Skyrim. Crossbows, spears, and even morrowind enemies and armour. :D

Don't see why not, but it will of course require you to own the Dragonborn DLC, but from the looks of the trailer i highly doubt many people would not want to buy it.

Yeah i sure hope it's worth the money aswell if it does indeed include all of Solstheim and not a portion then i'm sure it won't be too hard to mix in the bloodmoon content with it.

Could you imagine with all the leaked info hype if it had just been dragon mounts and extra armor, i think bethesda are learning. I hope it beats Shivering Isles, if it comes anywhere close to that dlc then it is imo a masterpiece.

From what i recall Solstheim where quite influenced by the Morrowind atmosphere so it will be interesting to see how they will Beth will adapt that Morrowind feeling into the Skyrim engine. It might give us some tips of what do to or what not to do in our Skywind project, not to mention the actual graphic resources tha may be available.

Neat, in the screenshot with the Bull Netch I can see Red Mountain in the background, it doesn't look very friendly. =| Red Mountain looks so close in the screen shot, I wonder if I can swim over there, and throw all my gear in Red Mountain for the hell of it!

They're seriously not going to make us wait 30 days are they? The whole dlc agreement with microsoft was supposed to be for only 2 dlcs...

What kind of company would release dlc after christmas?

I can't believe I'm actually stoked for Skyrim DLC. Stuff looks sick. Not as good as Morrowind original, but it'll do. I want to play this so bad.

My take on this is : "yes". I think it's fair to say that by the time we're done an affordable game of the year edition should be out. Furthermore, based on what we know so far, I think people interested in Morrowind will certainly buy this DLC, right ?

edit : and there's a precedent with morroblivion needing the additional content.

If you ask me, it's WAY easier to require all Skyrim DLC for Skywind.  Gives this project the maximum amount of resources available.  Hell, even make it require Hearthfire just because we can.

That’s not the official DLC map from the TES5 Dragonborn DLC. Please do not refer to things as being official TES5 DLC content. It’s just a Solstheim map created by a modder for use in TES3 Morrowind.

Welcome to the golden age of gaming. Slowly everyone will become a second party developer to the console platforms because that's where the great mouth breathing masses are. Well that's basically the emerging feeling on the internet as far as I've found it, but I'm inclined to agree. Especially odd since the PC obviously has far more to gain from sandbox and especially single player games.

In fact the only thing I look forward to with the next gen consoles is that game devs are finally going to make games that my gaming computer won't run at 100fps. Although it's my own fault for buying it, my old comp (this one) is a paltry i5 650 with a gtx 560ti and still runs skyrim on max with ugrids at 7 on Linux... I mean linux for F's sake, at almost 40 frames at all times. My wifes laptop has similar results and it's NOT designed for gaming, yet the 360... well it it's forcing the gaming industry into a 180. They now design things to be dumbed down and then release the HD pack later for their lower priority albiet better performing platforms. Cough Bethesda Cough. Sucks to be people with crappy PCs though, 'cause they'll definitely drop you guys when next gen consoles become "recomended requirements".

Don't like it? Start making your own games for PC or look on kick starter for PC focused stuff.

Omg the graphics :O is it because of the darkness and the camera quality, but it looks like the ambient lighting in the game truly has that morrowind look to it. If we can somehow use that lighting for our mod, it would realy create the atmosphere.

I use RCRN and Natural Skyrim Rain to get that dark and gritty feeling, but HDR effect is a bit overpowered, so you should test it to find out if it'll fit.

Watch to get an idea of what we can use for the mod :) I wonder if the actual continent will be bigger than the one currently in game, so we can use that instead?

Actually, I'm pretty sure it has already been released.  Anyone know anybody with Skyrim on X-Box that purchased it?

Gah I've been spending too much time playin other games and working on this project, I still haven't finished Dawnguard and got all mods (for my Skyrim game) to work together. I need to finish it!! 

Yeah, the dlc is out but it's still too new and not much info is out about it.

For anyone who cares, I've been told that Dragonborn adds new sound tracks to the game.
