Oh god, I couldn't watch past 3 minutes. It feels like freaking WoW.

I posted this before, but the guy in the wheel chair knows what's going on. He just wants to go home and play some Metal Gear Solid, and forget this project ever happened. =(
TESO whole tamriel map could
TESO whole tamriel map could be a nice resource :)
Not only the map, all content
Not only the map, most content will be good to use.
After a tiny but of conversion that is, LOL
Cant wait to download the content.
The static objects I want.
I am not planning on playing TES-Online.
Not if I have to pay for it every month.
Well maybe 1 month of PVP.
Cashgrab
Yeah they are just trying to cash in on a WoW knockoff. Uh. Good luck!
BethSoft is wasting time and money on developing an MMORPG ... for what?
- They don't have a core competency there as developers and game designers. So it probably won't be as 'good' as WoW.
- The MMORPG market is already crowded and mature - if ES:Online is not BETTER than WoW, it can't compete. Look at Windows Phone's failure to enter the smartphone market. You have to be either a lot better or a lot cheaper to entice people to switch systems (switch games).
- BethSoft's customer base (that is, us) buys their games because they are sandbox NON-multiplayer games - so they can't just assume that their customers will all buy ES:Online and start playing it. It's not a "if we build it they will come" thing. A lot of BethSoft gamers are the type who specifically DON'T want to pay MMORPGs.
Sounds like the ES:Online decision was made by some middle manager who slept through business class and thought one day, "Dang, Blizzard is making a lot of money on this WoW thing, let's copy that!".
BethSoft would be better off (in terms of money and reputation) by sticking to their core competency and devoting all their resources to Skyrim expansions, Elderscrolls VI, and Fallout 4.
Resource
Either way if this crashes and burns or stays alive. It can be a good resources this project and for beyond skyrim for building the land masses and expaning on the areas.

A co-op mode similar to Saint's Row could probably work, and would be tons of fun. As for the content, I think most of it is going to be watered down. Also, I'll admit that I did like the neat water effects of the puddles and when it rained. No idea why the other TES games lacked that.
I did a little bit of free
I did a little bit of free playing WOW last month, just to see what it is all about, and to get a little insight on how TES-Online will probably work.
There where two things I hated so much, that I quit playing WOW after just 1 hour of free play.
1. No first person view.
2. Notification: You cannot attack this player !
If there is one thing we TES players hate is being tolled what we can and can’t do in the game world. Denying the basic choice to attack and kill a random player or NPC and dealing with the consequences is the KEY aspect of TES gaming.
Lucky we modders could mod Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind in order to remove the “You can not kill essential NPC” rule, and put the true moral decision in the player hands.
What part of creating a FREE open world did ZENIMAX not get ?
If I as player want to gank another player alone or with help from others it should be posible.
My personal view is:
All kind of kids ( age 10 to 20 ) will pay real life cash to buy expensive in game items and then walk around with there precious stuff to show everyone what they got and no one can rob them from it.
I just want to kill the player character of those kids in the game and loot there stuff.
1.) it's gonna suck 2.)I'm
1.) it's gonna suck
2.)I'm gonna end up getting it anyway
3.) maybe this means were closer to an elder scrolls tamriel
4.) this most likely means and an elder scrolls tamriel is insainly far off
5.)at least pvp look cool
6.) pvp might lag so hard you see a city and then it's rubble
7.)I hope it goes free after the first year because I have better thing to spend my money on then this crud.
8.) I hope (even though I know they won't do this) that they release all the asset (like static meshes) as a modder resource for skyrim.
1. There actually will be a
1. There actually will be a first person view.
2. There might be zones I guess where you can attack players, but I doubt they'll let us rob the player. If we can, nobody will go to the zone with their l33t loot. This may sound a little effed up, but,the reason I first played Morrowind was being told I could kill anyone in a game. xD My friend first told me about Morrowind when I was younger and that sounded neat as hell and was why I bought the game.
3. Mod anything in TES: Online and I'm sure they'll bann your ass. =p
4. The part where they learned how much money mmo made.
5. Unless it's on console I doubt we'll see a lot of kids. Then again the only mmo I ever played was Ragnarok Online, and when I play D3, I play alone or with friends I already know. So I have no idea what the PC gaming base is like, but if it's anything like the xbox live player base, I'd rather play alone.
6. Killing kids and taking their loot that their hard earned money spent on does sound tempting, but nobody will spend irl money if that's true.
All in all, it's pretty funny in a way. The TES fanbase have complained and complained(I know I sure have) that designing TES for consoles has hindered the game. But when they finally make a PC exclusive TES game once again and design it for PC, it's this, and most of the PC TES fanbase hates it. Sadly once the charm of being able to go everywhere in Tamriel is gone, and once the mmo grinding kicks in, you'll probablty wanna quit.
Yup, its gonna suck on allot
Yup, its gonna suck on allot of points and it will FAIL. Atleast the content will be free to download like with all MMO’s.
ZENIMAX is alloud to use Bethesda material but Bethesda is not alloud to use TES-Online material. The TES-Online world is also not scaled correctly to the TES game world. There will be no overlapping compatibility.
I do think Skyrim is a base game, it will probebly get extended with DLC’s containing all of tamriel. At one point we will get all of Tamriel. If we do it will be over for Bethesda, lucky we not even close to that.
PVP look cool but will not be cool, hack and smash is boring, without the option to loot your kills. Free roming and battlefield farming not gona happen.
I do not see how they plan on making money with it. If a subscription is $15,- a month then over 6 months you total $90,- and you have finished playing long before that. How do they keep players happy to make then stay that long. They cant expand the game world after launch. If you give players the entire world what els is there to give them. More missions in dark places, LOL
Becouse Bethesda is not alloud to use the new TES-Online material, are we not allout to use it.

I'll pass on this Online
I'll pass on this Online thing. Too overpriced and overrated IMO.
I'll stick to the offline games.
