Better Cities?

Submitted by Jedi on

Hi everyone!

I've just seen some amazing Obliviskyrim screenshots, and I was wondering if the devs are considering including (if, of course, the original authors grant permission) imo essential mods like Better Cities http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/16513 , which overhauls and greatly expands Oblivion "cities" (well, given their size and population "tiny villages" would be more appropriate) into something believable and enjoyable.

Really hope so, anyway thanks and keep up the excellent work! :)

I made a plugin for Skyblivion that receates the better cities mod as well as many other mod I enjoyed from Oblivion it even overhauls cyrodiil to make it look like the 4th era. I would release it but (1.) I don't know where to. (2.) I was goona make a new ESM with version control so I renamed the esm. Tamriel_Map (I was planning on making the elswyre and hammerfell mod as well) so I could keep a back up of the stuff I made for myself and the stuff I made for Skyblivion.

for that matter, what was your workflow for implementing better cities, as thats something I was wanting to try to do. Although Real life has been hectic recently and prevented me from untertaking anything skyblivion related, I'm hoping that changes soon so things can be cracked on with.

As for releasing it, well, why not just upload it to mediafire and link it in this here post, its what I did with my half finished serpents trail route to cyrodill

Hey SE that's excellent news, and beyond my most optimistic expectations :D

As mentioned, Mediafire should be fine for hosting (but I'm no expert just a happy player!)

I believe many people would be interested in your work, why not start a thread to inform everyone about it?
