So I saw sometime that post in another thread that people wanted quarrals textures ported (or I came up with the idea anyways) and I figured I'd give it a shot, as I have the entire file of redimized textures sitting on my labtop
I am planiing on starting with the architecture, that is probably the one that is most needed, as vaniella versions are pretty damn ugly.
I have two question
1. does quarral texture packs use parralax, I notice alot of the diffuse have alphas, and as I have never really messed with parralax in oblivion I really don't now if they do.
2. do I need to port the meshes, because if I do it is going to take a lot longer as I have to convert them manually (no 3ds Max means the converter won't work) I strictly use blender.
anyways thanks for the time, I'm just a novice trying to help.

As I understand Quarl's pack
As I understand Quarl's pack uses parallax textures (never tried it myself though). They do not need to be converted, as their format is the same. But optimized meshes from that pack could be converted, probably as an optional add-on, because enb is required for parallax stuff. Imo converting them by hand will be too much pain, you probably should ask Supreme (for Skyblivion) or Eloth (for Skywind), because there is no clear plan on static meshes for now :(
