Is Morroblivion cloud saved?

Submitted by NewmanNR on

And what I mean by this is, if I have Morroblivion working on one computer with one Steam account, can I access it on another computer with the same Steam account without having to redownload Morroblivion? Also, are there any consequences if I play Oblivion on the computer that doesn't have Morroblivion? I'm curious as to how save files work too.

I ask this because I downloaded Morrowblivion on one computer as if I screwed up I would not have to uninstall Steam and reinstall all my games, so instead I used my crappy graphics laptop that only had Morrowind and Oblivion installed anyway, but now I want to play on a computer with decent graphics.

Thanks.

No, this isn't an official addon so it is not saved on steam.  This is simply a mod like any other, albeit a very large one.

Thank you.

How would Morroblivion affect my cloud save as in terms of Steam. I.e I go to my main computer to go play Oblivion, that doesn't have the mod downloaded.

Also, is there a faster way to put Morroblivion on my main computer from my laptop rather than re-downloading the entire thing?

Yes you can swap to your Main Computer as long you have the same in stalled on Both computers as Shivering Isles, Service Packs,DLC Content, other than Steam....

Go to Your Main Computer go to your Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\ Now EVERY Directory Here Rename With Date in Front Example (06\12\2012 Data)

In This directory Oblivion\Create a (TEMP) Directory Cut All Other Files in the OBlivion Cut and Paste in to the TEMP.....

Oblivion will be Happy as long as You Do not try and run the Game................

Go to Your Laptop Take a Portable Drive...All in my Oblivion Directory is 41GiG yours Should not be That bad....Copy All That is in your Oblivion Directory of laptop in To a Directory on Portable Drive  When Finished Take to Main Computer,  the files you just coppied on to Portable drive copy  in to Your Oblivion Directory on Main computer Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\..........

As I can Remember ALL steam files normaly are in C:\Users\user Name

Now You Should Have 2 Copies of All The Oblivion Files Under 1 Directory Now OPEN up 2 Copies of Windows Explorer Resize to Half your Screen Each......

Open Your Laptop Version 1 Directory in 1 Screen....

In the Other Screen Open Your Original Of your main Computer Same Directory All you are Looking For is Steam Files Or Directorys....Delete Them..

If your are Using Bash you Might Have to Overlay All your Oblivion off Your Main Computer...Over the Oblivion Off your Laptop..

The Files in The TEMP directory Have to Copied over to..

With Overlaying Will not Effect Morroblivion,Morroblivion Uses it Own Directorys DO NOT CUT PASTE COPY..Gives you Your Original.. if You Stuff Some Thing UP

Do Load order How ever you Do Game Play Game..

I hate to come off as rude, but can anyone do a better job of explaining what Roxon is trying to say? I can't understand it.
